BP CEO is not in charge!

June 18, 2010

I have stated in my book The Psychology of Investing that the background of a CEO of a company is the most important reason why you would buy or not buy shares in his company. I have taught my readers what to look for in the verbal behavior and body language of a great CEO. Now, watch the behavior of Tony Hayward, Geologist, the CEO of British Petroleum on CNN and you will witness a classic example of a CEO not in charge of his company.

The BP oil spill is the biggest in US history. Hayward has a PhD in Geology.  A PhD in Geology does not make you a great CEO of an oil company. Learn, dear investors, what actual training and experience one must have to become a great CEO of an oil company. It’s your money on the line. Listen, It’s the CEO, stupid!

Be a winner! Follow my blog and learn what stocks NOT to buy!
